City-Industry in Israel

Industrial areas are gaining renewed attention due to shifts in production, urban growth demanding land, changes in resource costs, and decentralization of power from national to local levels. These trends challenge traditional zoning that separates industrial and residential zones. The “City-Industry” project aims to rethink this relationship through two steps: first, mapping and analyzing industrial areas across Israel focusing on physical, economic, social, and political factors; second, developing innovative city-industry interfaces suited to modern needs.
